Sergei berezhnoi - the ballet world lost a great man husband dancer partner coach instructor

July 20, 1949 - August 3, 2011 Many tears have been shed around the world, due to the much too early in his life, death of Sergei Mikhailovich Berezhnoi at the age of 62, according to the Mariinsky Russian website, although the Mariinsky English translator incorrectly translated his age at death as 63.. He died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where he was a People's Artist of Russia, the highest honor given to artists, other than very rare special prizes given out. His long time wife, Tatiana Berezhnaya, as she always preferred to be called, did not accompany the Mariinsky Ballet to it's 3 week London tour and was present in their hometown, when Berezhnoi died. Tatiana Berezhnaya was popularly known around the world as Tatiana Terekhova. It is common practice to say that married couples were very close to each other, when often that is not true, but in the case of Sergei and Tatiana, they were very close to each other and loved each other very much. The ballet fans around the world, need to pray for Tatiana during her difficult time now and for a long time, adjusting to life without her beloved Sergei. With the Mariinsky Ballet performing at the Royal Opera House in Convent Garden now, dancers, coaches, orchestra and Mariinsky staff in London, for their tour, must have had a difficult time coping with the tragic news of his death. This 9 part video is dedicated to two youtube viewers, Bnesque and the sister of Vitaly Tsvetkov. Bnesque is drowning in tears over the lost Ketinoa videos and she keeps making me cry. I had to find a way to stop all the crying and I found it (to be detailed below). The other youtube viewer is the sister of Vitaly Tsvetkov, who is shown often in this video. Tragically, Vitaly died before he reached the age of 50. I found my time machine and went back to November 8, 1987. I arrived in Leningrad, now called St. Petersburg, in time to celebrate the 35th birthday of Galina Mezentseva . So what did she do on her 35th birthday? She took class with Vladilen Semenov , who some might know as Mr. Kolpakaova . His wife, Irina Kolpakova , came toward the end of this class and worked with Galina as Odile from Swan Lake . Unfortunately, my time machine did not allow me to bring new technology to 1987, so I could only use 22 year old video equipment, in relation to 2009. THIS IS A YOUTUBE FIRST. NEVER SEEN BEFORE. Eat your heart out Ketinoa. Even you did not have a 90 minute Kirov company class and focusing primarily on the birthday girl. While Mezentseva was the main attraction, she did have some nice classmates. At the barre, she was standing in between Ravil Bagautdinov and Vitaly Tsvetkov. "despite the tears" instrumental composition

computerised recording as usual. A piece of writing of mine that I'm currently working on inspired me to write this - if I was to make a film of the story I'm writing I'd love this to be on the soundtrack, it's what I'd imagine, the sinnister gothic sound of dissonant strings. Woo! The piece of writing I'm working on is an adaption of "The Phantom of the Opera" which is a mix of Leroux, ALW, and my own ingenious :P and is told from Raoul's perspective. Cause I love Raoul :P In this piece I try to maintain the real eerie empty gothic feeling the original Leroux novel held but with the twist of focusing on Raoul. Enjoy. (btw...I love the double bass atm, such a dark beautiful tone)

I had no idea what to expect but like many others, I always wanted to be a ballerina, so I built up the courage and finally made it to a class.
