Zeitgeist: Moving Forward [2011] by director Peter Joseph is a 162 minute film work which continues what the prior two films of the Zeitgeist Film Series started: a critical look at the "Zeitgeist" or 'Spirit /Awareness of the Time'. A prominent underlying thesis of the Film Series is that a great many notions, beliefs and practices currently engaged in today and assumed as "presupposed", "given" or seemingly empirical to our societal approaches and values are not only intellectually/historically incorrect but highly detrimental to our personal and social progress and sustainability. Zeitgeist: Moving Forward focuses on the very fabric of the social order: Monetary-Market Economics. While the majority of the world today have slowly come to see some basic flaws in the economic system we share, as large scale debt defaults, inflation, industrial pollution, resource depletion, rising cancer rates and other signposts emerge to bring the concern into the realm of "public health" overall, very few however consider the economic paradigm as a whole as the source. The tendency is to demand reform in one area or another, avoiding the possibility that perhaps the entire system is intrinsically flawed at the foundational level. Er komt in deze ...
Er komt in deze docu veel interessants naar voren, maar - hoewel ze zelf een poging doen het tegendeel te bewijzen - ze propageren hier toch wel degelijk een communistisch ideaal. Het is hypocriet van Fresco om te beweren dat zijn utopie zo erg verschilt van de andere staatsvormen. Bovendien is het geldsysteem an sich niet iets onnatuurlijks. Zelfs in gevangenissen creëren ze hun eigen soort van valuta (sigareten ofzo). Zeitgeist-fans moeten wat huiveriger zijn voor gecentraliseerd bestuur.

En zo is dat! Het draait om percepties en het co-creeeren, in gedachten en in woorden, van de wereld die jij wilt zien. 'The powers that be' weten dit al heel lang en co-creeeren er lustig op los en tegelijkertijd houden ze 'ons' in een algemene perceptie van angst, waardoor ze vrolijk door kunnen blijven gaan. De 'tijd' is echter met ons, de huidige percepties beginnen allemaal af te brokkelen.

Meeste mensen ...
Meeste mensen vinden de realiteit te absurd om te geloven, dat is ook het grootste probleem... onwetendheid is een zegen wordt vaak gezegt. Maar ook die onwetendheid en de drang daarna van de massa is niet iets natuurlijks daar groeit de massa in op. Dit wordt ook wel het gedachtengoed van de individuele consument genoemd. Een doc 'The century of the self' legt duidelijk uit hoe ver dat gedachtengoed is doorgedrongen in de samenleving.

Amen broeder! Laat ons hopen dat we het nog mogen meemaken. Wees wel bereid eerst voor een periode van ongeziene miserie en kommer. Blijf geloven en kritisch maar laat u vooral niet ontmoedigen om in uzelf, anderen en zeitgeist of de R.B.E. tegeloven. Wat ze ook naar u toegooien.

Some people seem to ...
Some people seem to think that Zeitgeist Google is not related to the Zeitgeist movement. If they say they are not connected it is a simply way of bringing attention to the word "ZEITGEIST" so that they can bring attention to the movement without being "associated" with the movement. This is just like my purpose in life right now, which is to bring attention to the word "MAJORMIGRAINE"
