Jacque has copied his ideas from the cities of Atlantis, but there's still too much to work in the Atlantean Eco-Technology. So, his Venus Project is not really new to me, it's rather a still immature copy. What's is really missing for his Project to be applied is a new Multiversal EcoSocial Reengineering-MESE to prepare humanity for that kind of intelligent cities. We already got that MESE ready to be put into practice in our country, from 2013. Greetings to you all.

These people (the visionary type) try to project trends into the future. Computers, spaceships, UFOs, the VP, etc. naturally interest them, but they are not specialists working with advanced tools and education, so they do not follow formalities, and thus their scientific ability is compromised.

The VP requires decentralized power generation to work. Without that, any power can be concentrated, first physically, then economically, and finally politically, after which we are back to were we started (i.e. oligopoly). Unfortunately, neither VP nor TZM has mastered the concept of this need of decentralized power. Also, without 100% bootstrap financing, it will be impossible for a prototype city to not be subject to ownership by external investors and speculators.

Can someone explain to me why a rather rational proposal for how we should live in the future is so widely promoted by UFO buffs and other people with rather unscientific views? The link makes the Venus Project look like fringe economics/sociology to the average, "normal" person, which is going to hold them back. I guess I'm kind of baffled by how people who think they understand these concepts also ironically contradict them by believing in crazy nonsense without evidence, like UFOs.

The background ...
The background noise is freaking annoying. I thought my dog was scratching at the door i had to pause it a few times then when i turn it back on there is another sound that makes me feel like im in a submarine going down. Next time no background noise people are trying to listen and learn we dont need background noises. Thanks for putting this show together though i loved the 2011 Zeitgeist video.

I like Jaque's thoughts about rendering government obsolete, getting rid of it without war through innovation. It's time to make it happen. He also said these type of technological advances came from ordinary people, like you and me, not governments, but I guess he's not going to refuse sponsorship from governments. But then he followed up that "Egypt is a prelude to the future."
