Focus on the "bank ...
Focus on the "bank bailout" & how that is in no way free market practice & the proof of their control of the govt, forcing us to pay for our continued slavery. The argument for money could only be made that it can only be run in a not for profit manner, or else you ask for more than the system can generate.

Everything you say ...
Everything you say is of course logical, therefore as true as possible given today's knowledge, however, its presented in a verbiage fitting to the most educated (and therefore the "smartest" individuals, who already concur). To reach the masses, it's not dumbing down-it's effective communication, & will empower people who've been conditioned to believe they are powerless. Focus on the "bank bailout" & how that is in no way free market practice & the proof of their control of the govt, forcing

In a BBC interview ...
In a BBC interview a prominent advertising agency owner was asked; "What is the purpose of advertising ?". He replied " Telling people about things they didn´t know they wanted" In the light of environment and the orgy of consumption we have this says a lot, and confirms zeitgeist view of consumerism.

The current system is in a state of collapse, period. Peter I appreciate your tremendous effort to rebut the rebuttal as it were.

if monopolies are the the natural state to which the free market players tend to gravitate to, name a few of them. Name at least one that wasn't created with the state enforced laws...

´´If you mean creating massive unemployment and thus accelerating collapse of capitalism even faster then yes you are correct gold standard would fix a lot´´ but that is going to happen anyway, a gold standard prevents money beeing created from nothing, it prevents massive debts, it prevents inflation etc,

I love Peter/TZM/TVP, etc. and all, but don't you think maybe people disable comments because the amount of feedback just gets annoying after some point? I know if I was getting thousands of negative messages I sure would be tempted to disable them.

Peter Joseph is a ...
Peter Joseph is a real intellectual. He proves that you do not need a Ph.D to be knowledgeable about a subject or several subjects. It is the will to learn that advances the individual. Our goal should be to strive for the best to be available for one another, not just for ourselves. This excessive competition in this current system tears us apart. It is very ugly and sad.

Stefan's ideas ...
Stefan's ideas about "freedom" and "voluntarism" are upon further examination completely disingenuous and this is what these "economists" religiously repeat all the time. Peter Joseph takes him to school on this matter, sadly there are many more Stefan's.

gold works for the ...
gold works for the current system because it is a scarce resource, our current system is based on scarcity. Many western countries destroy food resources because of over abundance , supply and demand. There is enough food to feed the planet 3xs over, we just do not have the money to do so.

The USA has the best private education and medical systems in the world, but it is only available to the wealthy, yet it is with the working class tax dollour that finances the science and technology to fund and build these institutions.

peter is wrong, a glod standard would solve many problemas a gold standard system a very good system. I you want to move from the current system to a resource based system, you would need many transitional states. and gold standard should be the first transitional state

I love the economic ...
I love the economic calculation problem argument. Developed by Austrian Economists who has never seen a computer model in their lives, instead relying on backward semantic arguments such as Murray Rothbard's inane "Egalitarianism as a Revolt Against Nature". Never has an economic school been so ignorant and anti-science. The Austrians started at the conclusion "Capitalism is perfect" and developed arguments to support this. Even mainstream economists like Keynes though ECP was rubbish.

These two men ...
These two men actually have a remarkable agreement on the problem. They both draw from Dr. Mate. They both see the inherit corruption in the monetary system and wall st corruptions. There solutions do differ. Peter wants a scientific approach which is great. As long as it's done with reason and not by force that is great. But what if people want to keep using money which most will. Stefan recognizes that the root of many of these issues is government coercion, and wants to stop this.

Intriguing concept ...
Intriguing concept and Peter has the gift. But what happens when there is resistance? You think people are just going to comply with their assigned condo in the circle city? There are some rugged fiercely independent fuckers out there. It's not just about materialism and mind lock on the market. As good as this may seem, it is not freedom.

WOW, great bitch slapping! I've yet to see Mr. Joseph fail to impress me with his profoundly brilliant use of critical thinking. WHEN IS JON STEWART or RACHEL MADDOW going to interview this guy... we liberals need a broadcasted and formal introduction to PJ's Zeitgeist material!
