I don't know how I ever earned the honor, but my nick-name all throughout high school (at least, my three-and-a-half years as a freshman) was "Nigger Jim." It might've been that upon a time, I'd had a black girlfriend, but I think I had the name before the lady.. Yes, come to think of it, I remember her asking me before we ever dated why I was so called. I guess I'll never know. Huh.. The Good Old Days. :)
