How does the Venus ...
How does the Venus Project adapt to unexpected drastic environmental changes which lead to times of great scarcity? For example, what if unexpected weather phenomena due to unforeseen solar activity leads to decades long droughts? What if an earthquake triggers a super volcano to erupt and plunges the planet into an ice age? Our current system is completely unprepared, I want to know how the Venus Project would handle it.

People only go out ...
People only go out to catch fish because transferring to a fish farm would kill jobs but in a RBE where efficiency is the main focus fish farms would take over. What type of gas are you talking about? depending on what type we could either replace it with a better alternative of siphon it automatically with periodic checkups to make sure everything is working as it should be.

Nice question my friend. People would work on those tasks because they know that they are really necessary for society to function. Not like today's jobs such as customer service, sales and other jobs that can be eliminated with technology. Besides, there would be so many people for so little jobs that rotation would be huge, meaning you would probably work only 2 or 3 hours a day, and not even every day. Believe me, with most problems gone and a new value system, all would change.

ok so what would convince someone to go work in the north where everything is secluded for the extraction of gas,or what would convince someone to go on fishing boats to catch fish .some jobs will always require humans in order to function.People usually take on an unappealing job due to the money it provides,btw i like current cities and the architecture of circular cities would be awful
