There is no 'magic ...
There is no 'magic pill' here nor is there any selling or buying. PJ's premise is rooted in the scientific method. Your 'reply' lacks in substance - more specifically, if you had a constructive criticism at the very least, perhaps others would be willing to take you more seriously.

How I hate ...
How I hate sensationalist condescending pseudo-intellectual "visionaries" that are trying to sell you the "magic pill." All of this, a load of crap pains me that anyone buys this stuff.

Most of our ...
Most of our production technologies are already automated. And there ARE machines made for automated construction. It was done in Chinaif I'm not mistaken on a 30 story building in 15 days. To that end, we can easily program these machines to build new machines, or just contour craft make them. The technology exists and is achievable in a VERY short amount of time. NOT decades as you propose.

All it takes is to make one machine that makes many construction machines to be able to automate construction etc, if you think what he is saying is flawed, maybe you should research it some more because if he has spent 65 years of his life to get where his ideas, I would question research more and then maybe email TVP. Oh and the masses of people free of slave work would volunteer to manage a machine every so often, it says that in Zeitgeist Moving Forward. I hope that helped :)

Fresco is flawed ...
Fresco is flawed hugely. I bought into his ideas at first until i thought more about them. For a start he advocates mass machinery to rebuild the earths cities and transport/energy systems and that mankind would no longer need to work but it would take decades to build these machines for automation of the cities. Decades more once we eventually iron out the flaws. Then we would need people to keep them running (no machine operates totally independantly). The resources would be enormous.

Peter got most of ...
Peter got most of what he says from Jacque Fresco. The only difference is Jacque has already designed the cities to best of what we know of today. I always think of Peter Joseph being Karate Kid and Jacque Fresco being Mr. Miyagi lol

The Zeitgeist ...
The Zeitgeist Movement will need white hat hackers. We must recognize the and invite members of the white hat hacking community to join us. Otherwise we run the risk of cyber attacks from an ever growing plethora of cyber threats.

Yes , there will ...
Yes , there will always be leading personalties. But leadership, as we know it, seems to be a honey pot to exactly those kind of people who should not have extra power. " I don´t dislike authority, just the kind of people who like to have it " Kbc Berlin. What I said to my head teacher during a dressing down at school. He didn´t like it, but seemed to be thoughtful.

Fresco's ideas hold water. The problem is getting people to give up everything their ancestors died.

Fresco really only ...
Fresco really only advocates technical change. He has no plan for creating a change in the current nature of humanity. If Frescos ideas held water, they would have moved further than his drawing board over the last fifty years.

I mean that USA for ...
I mean that USA for instance is not that capitalistic society at all in the classical sense. The dominant modern corporation with anonymous shareholders and employee-managers are not capitalistic, because the structure of organisation where owners and managers have limited power over the means of production and limited responsibility when it comes to losses, is against the classical capitalism. Japan is perhaps more capitalistic than USA, while it is considered more collective society.

I think the dominant economy of today resembles a bit of the economy of USSR because of the centralized mass production and distribution. The biggest dominant corporations produces low-quality homogeneous stuff. Goods are sold on the basis of advertising, which makes them look more different than they are to on another. Stocks, computers, cars..there are just few basic models that are sold in different shapes and colours.USSR used the tayloristic model like most corporations in oligopolistic USA.

What is economics ...
What is economics but the study of the scarcity of resources, be them infinite or finite, and how these resources are allocated according to supply and demand. What is the NY stock exchange, but simply a place where people come to trade resources. A medium of exchange (i.e. money, albeit fiat currently) is required to make it easier and efficient, otherwise one would be hard pressed to find anyone to trade with. Why am I finding some of us want to abolish supply and demand, which is impossible?

Funny how George ...
Funny how George Carlin used his art to teach society. He spoke about that concept. A concept he learned from musicians that influenced him. Carl Sagan used his profession to teach society. George Carlin and those musicians influenced Bill Hicks who did like wise of whom all influenced Peter Joesph. All of those individuals, including Peter influence me, name less individual amongst many others. One person can't change the world? Not true at all.
