I did not say ...
I did not say everyone would be lazy. I said that there would be jobs that would have to be done. Honestly, I hope I am wrong. When I think this through logically I do not think I am. Again, I do not think the current system is good. I just am not sure that RBE is the answer. I will continue watching all of the video's that come out and hope that I am missing something. I think it is important to be open minded to all ideas even if I disagree with them at first.

Never did I say that our current system was the answer. I was only trying to look at the complete picture. I think that when you go to the RBE you will still have government. I do think that government will have a lot of power and will have to rule over the entire planet. That is what I see. I am not saying the current system is better. I am also not saying that a RBE is better than the current system. I like the RBE idea, so I see some fatal problems.

Controlling of what ...
Controlling of what "the computer" outputs, what should be done 1st, what is more important, what should be sent, when it should be sent, and many other decisions will be controlled by a dictator. Plus who does what work and when. I agree that this would be a failure of the RBE. That is why I would warn against it. Giving up all overship of everything puts people at the mercy of the system. If the system becomes corrupt it hurts every1. Just look at the history of the world

I don't see what power the dictator could abuse. In RBE the decisions are made by technical experts that have the expertise to solve the specific problems. There would be no area for a dictator to control. And as for controlling of what "the computer" outputs, this would be counter-productive and would lead to the failure of RBE. The global resource management system is to make decisions based on real-time needs of the population to efficiently control the planets resources.

The dictator would control who does what since certain things would need to be done. They would also have control on when to act on the information and what information to act on. Plus the information kicked out by the computer would need to be interpreted and that would be controlled. The dictator also may control where people live. I just think that this movement is vulnerable to a dictator or world governement. No system is perfect. It is important to recognize the flaws.

but to what end? The dictator would already have access to the best there is, as would everyone else. They would have nothing to gain, no higher standard of living, no control over vital resources and most of all no monetary incentive to use as the tool. Yes you are right that there will need to be certain professions that need to be preserved but I think you will find there are plenty of people who would want to be involved in the medical field and others.

There is more to ...
There is more to gain than money. It is power and control that a dictator would have. Just because money is dead doesn't mean people can not or will not be controlled. Work still needs to be done. Decisions still need to be made. Power always has something to gain. If every1 followed their interests, who works/Who farms/Who cooks and cleans/Who works the hospital/fire/police force? People will have to do things for the good of the community. Every1 can't follow their interests.

I guess in the end u give the human race more credit than I do. I agree that if all needs are met u might have piece. I just believe that people will always strive for more even if there basic needs are met. That is when the violence will begin. I am not as worried about the violence as I am about the possible dictator or 1 world government. That is a lot of power in the hands of a few. I just don't trust any1 to lead with our best interests in mind. Corruption will happen.

A dictator would ...
A dictator would have nothing to gain from being a dictator in a RBE. The resources are the heritage of all Earths people and do not cost money. Therefore they cannot be controlled for any sort of monetary gain or oppressive purposes. In a RBE you would be free to explore what it is that most interests you, you would have the tools to be able to do so. Free to follow our passions without the constraints of the monetary system and the pointless useless jobs that we do just to survive.

Your assuming one cannot advance if everyone is equal? Because one will not have more resources than another? I think its important to note that advancing is a vague term to describe personal evolution and growth over someones life. Yes if ones needs are not met on a food level, violence is likely to happen. The human and animal response to hunger is to seek out food, however necessary to survive. But if ones needs are met, you will find far less violence. Well I'm out of words.. :)

I personally feel that if TZM wants to succeed in 5 year time frame they need hackers who still believe in the code, otherwise nothing will happen at least in 30 years, cos system is still way too far healthy for it to actually start impacting society as a whole.

If off, in the RBE society there is no advancing. If everyone is equal and has equal, then there would be no advancing. I understand that you do not hunt, but you eat. If what was being given to you and/or your family was not enough, then you would fight for you and their survival. I understand the issue is not simple at all. I just fear that if this system takes place not only would there be a raise of a dictator, but the system would not work as neatly as it is presented.

Just because I have ...
Just because I have teeth, I'm not hunting with them. People who are given a truely equal chance at a real life, will not fight or hurt other people to advance their own self. Because that is not how one advances in a RBE or in most societies current(on an individual level at least). In our current system, their is a sense of desperation and in many cases it deters ambitions. The issue is not as simple as collective power vs individual power. Power has many dynamics, media,money,drugs
