i just have a strong disdain for the middle east, not necessarily for endorsing terrorism by turning blatant blind eye to it, but by the fact that we are sending financial aid to these "friends," of course ron paul would have gotten rid of that, and thats probably my favorite thing about him and what caught my eye during the gop debates

Paul said he would not have ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, calling the operation "absolutely not necessary". Instead he would have done it differently, stating that America should have worked with the Pakistani Authorities who in the past had arrested Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other terrorists who were then tried in court. Paul also stated that other alternatives were viable that were less of a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty.

i agree with the un and nato bit, states rights, and i think he's 100% right on fiscal policy, but its his obssession with withdrawing troop from other bases what makes me skeptical that he wont make aggresive and necessary decisions (like go after osama in pakistan)

My political affiliation is towards the Libertarian Party. Both GOP and Dem parties are sellouts. I like Ron's fiscal conservative policies. Shuts down FED system, repeal the 16th Amendment (Income Tax), withdraw us from NAFTA and the WTO. His foreign policy is good, but not perfect. He wants non-interventionism (no more "limited wars"), end embargo with Cuba, withdraw us fron UN, NATO, and other organizations. He is also advocates states' rights.

most hardcore republicans simply WILL NOT vote for him. almost all jewish and pro israel voters will not vote for him, and anti palestine people will not vote for him- and like all gop candidates, ron paul is hypocritical if you actually do your research, its just not covered as much because he's not a serious candidate ;) i honestly believe ron paul could be a great fiscal president, but his extreme views in foreign policy worry voters and even me =\ (except for starting aid from scratch =Dftw)

I yawn at that.....there's flip flopping like Romney does it, and then there's responding to the way the world changes. It's easy for an extremist ideologue to consistently harangue.
