I'm not sure whether you're intentionally stupid or accidentally shortsighted.

@Mumiaw18 Yeah, a ...
@Mumiaw18 Yeah, a 95 year-old man has a world-dominating agenda that he apparently has just failed at over and over but for some reason keeps pursuing by talking to small groups of people at a time. His goal is TOTALLY to undermine love! It's not like if you read his book he has an entire chapter devoted to replacing the term with "extensionality," a word he feels is a closer approximation to what real 'love' should be like, to separate the two. Dangerous liar, indeed! I'm so scared.

Yeeeeepppp....... ...
Yeeeeepppp....... because that's totally what would happen. AND that's what Jacque is describing, CLEARLY! Strategic resource management OBVIOUSLY equates to complete unfettered resource funneling into whatever project someone deems "scientific." Fuck peer review and hypothesizing based on research, every man for himself in a resource based economy! Orrrrrrr no.......

Jacque Fresco ...
Jacque Fresco explicitly abandons reason and logic for lies and propaganda. Fresco repudiates the idea of love. He deliberately and falsely conflates like (temporary, fickle) with love (enduring and faithful) for the purpose of undermining love. Fresco is a propagandist for posthumanism, but that means he is also a dangerous liar.

Jacque Fresco is ...
Jacque Fresco is insane: food needs to be stored where the people who will need it are located. No one lives at the poles, so vast amounts of energy would be wasted placing food at the poles, then retrieving it later. Simply keeping the food in cold storage would waste less energy than pushing large ships around the globe. It scares me that people see this man as a visionary.

Jacque Fresco is ...
Jacque Fresco is insane: we do not (and have never had and never will) have the resources to fund all research projects desired by all scientists. Doesn't he understand that some scientists want a cyclotron the size of the entire earth? Anyway, why would anyone want to fund *all* research projects? Some projects will research ways to destroy the human race and replace it with robots. Only a psychopathic ex-janitor and fake-engineer and fake-atheist would want to fund that.

the man talking at ...
the man talking at the 9:00 mark has got the idea down but the man who asked the first question has watched too many movies and should do more research before asking questions because it just slowed jacque down.

I was not created. ...
I was not created. I evolved. So did you. Islam might have been a good idea originally. However, like all religious texts it has been twisted and perverted time and time again to suit the whims of men who wanted power over others. I have read the book of which you speak. All of it. It's a lousy read and has sickening parts. I don't just judge muslims to be misled and guilty of unquestioning lazy thoughtlessness, I judge all religion the same way. Fairy stories.

..such arrogance.. ...
..such arrogance..after you were created you deny the Creator? My last post wasn't a defense to your attack on the Islamic view on apostasy. It was so that you realize that you need to go review what Islam is. Start from the basics; yourself. How did you come into existence? Read the Qur'an one ayat at a time. see what you can absorb. All your other accusations are non sense. read for urself don't judge Muslims based on fabricated "proof"

How about burying ...
How about burying women who "commit adultery" up to their chest and then throwing rocks at them? How about polygamy for men at the same time? How about the your imaginary friend Mo and his child bride? Violence, hypocrisy, pedophilia, mutilation. That is what your "god" brings. NO. Not for me. Not for any human being. Leave your Daddy issues behind and accept the responsibility for your thoughts and actions and those of your family and neighbours. We are "god". All of us.

Tell me, didn't the ...
Tell me, didn't the U.S. just kill Anwar Awlaki? A U.S. born citizen gone rogue to amass terrorists to bomb innocent U.S. citizens? Is it so wrong to kill the traitor? That's what the Qur'an is referring to; The person who says he's a Muslim and then turned traitor to fight violently against the muslims i.e. the enemy of the state should be eliminated to protect the rest. As for those who don't subscribe to the Islamic faith: "there is no compulsion in religion."

Your premise is ...
Your premise is incorrect and misleading, as with all religious beliefs. Islam is no more valid than any other fairy story. It's great for getting children to behave themselves. Like Santa Claus. No more or less than that. My ethics are not from any "god". My ethics, for instance, do not include an edict to put to death anyone who does not subscribe to my beliefs. Islam does. I posit that this makes my ethics more valid than Islam. Shall I go on?

belief in god and ...
belief in god and the revelations set the standard for social cooperation and therefore ethics. According to Islam, religion is inseparable from ethics in the social political and economic sphere. good and evil are defined by The Creator. The first page of the Quran is a supplication that recognizes The Creator and asks for guidance from Him. The rest of the Quran is said to be The Creator's answer to that supplication; i.e. guidance on what is right and wrong.

What do you and the ...
What do you and the society in which you've grown define as "ethical"? What is "good" and what is "evil" to you? Until you answer that for yourself how can anyone tell you what you want to know? Should anyone tell you that, or should you decide? Ultimately, "ethics" are born of a need for conditions under which humans can work together effectively for the betterment of society and the individual. "Spirituality" and "religion" don't enter into it. They are lies.
Azamspazam91 on 2011-07-16
I agree with ...
I agree with restructuring the monetary system and making one integrated on world community. The problem that we will never solve be solved is ethics. there must be an ethical lens behind every important decision that affects the community. That ethical lens comes from a spirituality that fundamentally works to promote good and dissolve evil, i.e. the teachings of Islam.

it was a figure of speech. Of course I have learned lot more, but it was a way of saying it to emphasize the new things he puts on tables. And if you had these ideas since you were 4 you should have brought them forth and worked on them, like Fresco did.

The best thing for ...
The best thing for people to do to help The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project is to just start telling people, friends, coworkers strangers etc. and have them watch all the information on line. That is the best thing to do RIGHT NOW!!!! Educate people! Telling no one is the WORST thing you can do.
