Exposure of problems is a good thing, only if it is followed by a viable alternative. Otherwise you leave people in mid-air without offering any hope of resolving the issue. You know the saying "Ignorance is bliss"... well, that's kind of true in this case.

The computer will ...
The computer will only monitor exact and specific areas such as distribution and production. There will be no spontaneous eruptions like the one you described. (Just a quick example: does your computer ever say to you: "You've put files in my hard drive way too quickly for my liking, so I'll delete everything you've put in the last month.") It simply isn't part of the coding. Moreover there will be multiple redundancies: if the system behaves oddly, the backup is initiated.

@people who challenge this! what do you suggest? a regime similar to china? would you like that instead? that will be the only option. secondly your standard of living will improve exponentially with this concept in time..., regardless we need to think about and look at the wider picture, the current system will collapse in our lifetimes, what will you do then, when you cant buy a beer with your paper, what wlll happen to your standard of living then? especially when all hell breaks loose.

Should Peter really be talking smack about wikileaks? "You think if you expose everything it'll somehow change something . It doesn't". He said that he did that with his first film. I'd argue that he does it with all his films, and that it DOES change things. I agree that actually doing something is important, but why knock on exposure? I don't think he'd be talking to a large audience of people, had those people not been exposed to Zeitgeist.
