Peter Ivers - Alpha Centauri

From 1974's Terminal Love. This video was done after his death for the promotion of the 1985 compilation Nirvana Peter. Note: The geniuses of copyright have removed the audio portion. Unfortunately they don't seem to realize this video only serves to raise awareness of Peter and help his posthumous sales. Music videos are ads after all; this was a free ad. If anyone knows anyone at Warner/Rhino, tell them to post the video on YouTube where it will be seen, and not on vhl.com where it languished until I posted it here: http://www.vh1.com/video/play.jhtml?artist=1261454&vid=47204

I read In Heaven, ...
I read In Heaven, Everything is Fine. I never realized the many avenues Peter was about. Harvard alumni, his band opening up for Fleetwood Mac while wearing a diaper and getting booed off the stage, though a very talented musician. I think David Jove did it. That guy was a loose cannon and a control freak. No doubt in my mind.

LOL I haven't seen ...
LOL I haven't seen your tits yet, either. The producer of New Wave Theatre is explored as a possibility in the book about Peter (Everything Is Fine, by Josh Frank), but there really aren't any solid suspects. The police thought it was a robbery and really didn't do very much at the time. It's been reopened as a cold case.

Were there any suspects? I get so sad when i think about him being killed. If i had to guess, i imagine it was someone who wanted to stop him from doing the show and having an impact .. something weird like that. ?? It makes me sad. (he didnt even get to see my tits) he was fuckin awesome

Exactly! Any means ...
Exactly! Any means to reach the depths of The Umberhulks. The recording industry is archaic destroying itself from the inside. What type of residual loss would Warner receive from having this on youtube?? You're not indicating any subliminal form to download the records that I can decipher. All your doing is bringing light to an artists/deceased that deserves it. Any way you equate it; curiousity equals monetary gain, how can someone not perceive that? What right do they have to begin with anyways

Read the video ...
Read the video info...sound was stripped due to Warner Brothers'/WEA dispute with YouTube. Unfortunately it seems to have also disappeared from the VH1 site as well. All of which only hurts the recent reissuing of Peter's work on download and CD.

I heard Peter Ivers got shot in front of his loft in downtown L.A. My older cousin, who's 57 now, told me he used to go to some gigs at Madame Wongs, the one in Chinatown, and also M.W. west. This show was great, and aired on Chanel 18 in the day, some Asian station.
