such an unfortunate ...
such an unfortunate truth for most people. on the plus side, not doing anything is exactly what we need..sort of. the best thing we could do is educate ourselves. learn how to build our own homes, grow/hunt our own food and provide ourselves with energy. we used to do these things. i dont see why we cant go back to that while making it easier with technological advancements. what i mean by NOT doing anything, however, is simply not participating in this silly game "they" have created =)

mmm no, if you ...
mmm no, if you invent a cure for cancer you will become rich, finding a cure for cancer won´t harm the economy, the money that people are using today in curing cancer would be used in other stuff (lets say vacations) so the jobs lost in the cancer industry would be compensated by the new jobs in the ´´vacation industry´´

1. it sounds to me ...
1. it sounds to me that your a bit religious...therefore explaining the nature of the monetary system and how the majority of selfish behaviors are amplified from it would be quite difficult. If you dont have the mentality of letting go of a religion (either spiritiual or economical, from christianity to capitalism) then your faith in the system will continue no matter what facts break it down. The nature of human behavior is not an opinion, its a science. Money is an ancient tradition.

Totally agree.
Totally agree.

I can very much ...
I can very much understand your frustration. Peter Joseph knows this very well. Nevertheless, his mission is not to change the World today; his mission is to plant the thought and idea. Our society is too primordial to evolve in the next few years. Our society will do as Peter Joseph has perceived when our global economy finally fails. Let's just hope we don't kill ourselves by the time this occurs. I'd be tragic to never put into practice The plans of the venus project.

Ah yes, the us vs ...
Ah yes, the us vs them argument. Let me tell you something, if you were to take all of the rich and wealthy corrupt people in office and get rid of them, only a new generation of elites would arise again. This is because the MONETARY system we live in perpetuates this kind of greed and selfishness. Unless we change our ways, our standard of living and hence the worlds condition, will continue to travel south...

ok so you do not ...
ok so you do not realize that most people liked being f-ed? I realized this long time ago. most men like being f by other men. the richer/ more important looking the more proud the one being f-ed is. some pay to be & watch their wives being. this is mental issues people have to deal with, we need to save the young & teach them. first step is take education out of government's control, the rest will fall right into place. oh & land of the slave & home of the coward is more appropriate.

may I correct this ...
may I correct this brave and brite man, monetary system is perfect, it is the corrupt system of government & crooks in power that is the problem. also the fact that others devalue us & don't pay us what we are really worth. & then cheat us & organize other criminals to deceive, sicken, enslave & steal from us constantly, is the problem. we need honest people & brave people to fight, we need angels in human form (they don't have to be perfect) but they must be honest & we must support & organize.

establishment ...
establishment institution as a55, they are synagogue of satan & organized crime. there is always jobs for people if they want to do something beneficial & constructive in stead of harmful & destructive. cancer and AIDS is man made, watch the movie In Lies We Trust, it exposes a lot of things. simply put in the cartoon Town of Alopath. we are living in a backward times with backward people living like animals and fraud. what he explains, the bible said long ago, remember what Amalek did to you!

yes this guy is a ...
yes this guy is a genius and sounds good too. I got my own revelations of history and human behavior but I will write some books then make the speeches. lots of people like stealing ideas. can you hear me now? and yes I can hear you too but we are not animals and should not behave as animals or else we will be treated as animals. & we are...being treated like animals. visit my website MayaBell. com (yes I think capital letters with a new sentence is a waist of time. maybe I and names in caps ok.

@buckeyemike81 it ...
@buckeyemike81 it makes every sense my friend, government control energy they trade it, they buy it and they sale it, so imagine someone created that car no one will need the government energy/petrol the government will los out hence they will never allow such an invention to occure. I hope that's explained it.

buckeyemike81 on 2012-01-27
This makes no sense ...
This makes no sense. A car like that would make the company that built it tens of billions, why would they care about bankrupting other companies? You make no sense at all.

zouhairuk on 2012-01-26
@buckeyemike81 @ ...
@buckeyemike81 @buckeyemike81 I am sure the car was already invented, or at least something similar, but the greed of the governments and the big co operations won't let it surface. It's too dangerous for them to have such an invention.

vabyss78 on 2011-11-25
No, it's just that ...
No, it's just that you are too well indoctrinated with the illusions of capitalism. You actually believe what they say it is supposed to be, and refuse to embrace the reality of what it has become.

buckeyemike81 on 2011-11-22
If a company could ...
If a company could make a car that lasts 80 years and go forever without fuel the creator of that car would be filthy rich because everyone would want one. They might bankrupt other car companies or gas companies, but the inventing company would be rich. So there is an incredible incentive to do this, who cares about bankrupting other companies if you get rich? This presentation has no understanding whatsoever about the motivations of a capitalist.

The Venus Project ...
The Venus Project is COMMUNISM 2.0. No? Let's review. TVP calls for: 1) The elimination of private property. 2) The elimination of money. 3) Centralized control of everything. 4) Global sharing of everything. 5) The promise that all of life's problems will magically disappear. Gee, where have I heard all of this before? PJ's solution to all the world's problems is nothing more than a repackaged version of COMMUNISM. So, if you support TVP, then you support COMMUNISM. Admit it. OWN IT.

or Create a video ...
or Create a video response In a RBE the new currency would be knowledge. We would spend our time and energy acquiring knowledge rather than money and cars and cheap plastic toys. Our social status would be based on what we know rather than what we own. Unfortunately we were all born about 100 years too early to see this utopian society. bummer :(

@jd3092003 There is ...
@jd3092003 There is only one thing to say to your comment. Those who think that something can't be done should get out of the way of those who are willing to do take on the challenge. Sorry to see, that you have given up. And your language shows that it makes you angry too. So there is hope that the anger will move you too. Only when the pressure gets high enough is the lid gonna come off ;-). Cheerio ... and BTW, great presentation, as allways.

What we can do: ...
What we can do: Random and frequent acts of kindness are not only helpful, but absolutely critical, in spite of increasing pressures from the failing social system. The magnitude of volunteerism for social causes in this world today is trying amazing, because it shows that we have enough people with a caring and compassionate mindset to make a new system work!

lynn12301 on 2011-09-25
What we can do: ...
What we can do: Realize that positive social change with regard to providing advanced technology and basic needs to everyone is NOT a political "ism". People are taught throughout industrialized society that social change is a politically-driven "ism" (socialism, facism, communism, totalitarianism, etc.). These are all intrinsically flawed systems, because they are based on political leaders, hierarchy of power, and a monetary system.

lynn12301 on 2011-09-25
What we can do: ...
What we can do: Think in terms of what the earth can actually sustain and replenish. It only makes sense to invest time and effort in technological advances, which will provide only clean renewable energy, and to provide basic needs to every human being.

lynn12301 on 2011-09-25
What we can do: ...
What we can do: All the current social value systems impede technological progress. Technology channeled in a positive direction can significantly improve everyone's quality of life (intelligence, health, strength, mood, stress levels, etc.), and move everything into a positive direction. Violent revolt against the established systems is NOT the answer. The best way to change is to stop contributing to the current system and concentrate your efforts towards a new positive direction.

lynn12301 on 2011-09-25
Reality: We already ...
Reality: We already have all the technology we need to bring everyone to a high standard of living and keep it that way, but profit-seeking businesses will not change the social structure, because it benefits them, not consumers. The biggest obstacle to positive change is the fear of change itself. The real losers/victims in this current system...children. More and more children are treated horribly because of social pressures, and carry emotional pain for the rest of their lives.
