Thanks! I've been wondering why CC is always unavailable for ages... Now I changed my MacBook's language settings from German to English and it's working :)

Did you know that ...
Did you know that people with an English OS can see the CC-Translate and then all the automatic language translation options, and people with a French OS can see something different like: CC is not available. I just found out with one of my students who shared via skype her screen of a french OS. My OS is Dutch-English and I can see the CC-translate into french whereas she doesnt. How strange is that? Any hints on how to overcome this or is this a bug or illogic in youtube?

I used it on my videos (not all my videos have CC) here's an example of my video that CC loads automatically: youtube.com/watch?v=G7aRIv4nXg8 (sorry cuz the video is in malay and uploaded such a very long time ago but the CC is in English)

Go on your internet browser's website and download the latest version, e.g, I use Firefox so I go on the mozilla firefox website and follow download prompts. Apparently, missing/demented/stubborn-beyond-comprehension captions are an out-dated browser problem...
