They already have ...
They already have debated on it. /watch?v=hxjwBZjADiM

Just watch Peter ...
Just watch Peter Josephs response. Id like to see him personally debate you on this subject..into a fetal position lol

There is a lot of ...
There is a lot of similarity between the Marxist analysis and RBE of course, and the appeal to science is worrying to anyone with a historical memory. Having lived much of my life in socialist inspired square new towns, I hate Frescoes round cites. A human town should grow organically in response to human need, and a libertarian model offers just that - organic growth. My main problem with Peter / Fresco is the idea that because we CAN do something, we should. Do only what you must!

I think if I were ...
I think if I were to define a command economy I would start by saying it is based on complete control of the coercive power of a state which is used to compel factory A to make cars and factory B to make matches. Peter's argument is that we should use our limited resources wisely to avoid the waste inherent in a free market driven by profit. The compulsion to do this will come from nature, not government. As to mediating subjectivity and desire I agree he is weak, and sometimes frightening

Don't get me wrong ...
Don't get me wrong I like the ZGM but they really need to work out some huge holes in their ideology before I will ever openly accept the notion of a RBE. I listen to EVERY radio show and read every forum thread from the ZGM but I'm still not even close to accepting it...

Also I like how ...
Also I like how Peters mentality and ideology evolves as he receives more input...He went from saying elitism is unnatural and a produce of education to admitting elitism is strongly integrated in our closest animal relatives and normal, He went from the accepting rule and management of the earth from a grand quantum computer to the realization that automatization of everything human is impossible to calculate and "dropping" the idea entirely...He definitely has not got his shit straight ...

Peter try to bypass ...
Peter try to bypass human desire and wants by calling every one "brainwash" by the system and calling out for one global consciousness which would "free" man from the old mentality and be perfectly adapted to the RBE economy... of course...As he well knows it he's calling for a new global brainwashing...a better "brainwashing"...A utopian one...EXACTLY like the communists did and they used every inhumane method to achieve this since it was for the greater good.

RBE is a pure ...
RBE is a pure command economy and ,as much as Peter Joseph would hate it, he is a Marxist in the purest sense of the word and so is his so called "ideology"...I don't want to start a debate but as long as he will not find a way to mediate subjectivity and desires in his ideology no matter what he may say or how trys to justify it he is a pure robo-communist...

I notice Stefan ...
I notice Stefan does things here which he sneers at in other videos. Arguments from history for example; he says a command economy has never worked. Leaving aside the issue of whether a RBE can actually be called a command economy, the fact that it has not worked yet, is not proof that it will never work. This is exactly what Stef says to people who comment that a stateless society has never existed, so will not work in the future. All in all, a disappointing bit of demagoguery I feel.

After watching ...
After watching peter josephs response to this video, I have to say Peters comments were much more relevant and intelligent. Its a shame people think more jobs is actually a good thing - its clearly the sign of an inefficient society

Monopolies are ...
Monopolies are impossible to sustain in a free market. There can be short-lived almost monopolies, which are achieved through extreme customer satisfaction and low prices. As soon as someone abuses the monopoly, competition emerges and destroys the monopoly. Monopolies and large corporations can only exist in the long run through government intervention. That is the reason why corporations contrary to popular belief favour regulations and not the free market.

I understand that. ...
I understand that. but CLEARLY is a desperately holding into his adoration because he's "proud" of his time as an "entrepreneur". And... he can not or will not (as I'm sure his NOT ignorant to the FACT) that the so-called "free-market" will ALYS inevitably turn into monopolies and thus tyranny. a real shame. but alas... I know this comes from his adoration of that intelligent, yet toxic bitch, Ayn Rand. now watch... all the Ayn Rand and Step worshipers attack me rather than the message. haha ;)
MrLenzi1 on 2012-05-06
The free market is ...
The free market is an important part of Stef's philosophy. The free market is the only economic system that does not involve the initiation of force.

I love Step's ...
I love Step's topics and views for the most part. but he still utterly FAILS when it comes to his advocacy of the total fallacy of the "Free Market". NOT surprising though considering he's clearly a fan of/influenced by the Ayn Rand mindset. I'd suggest he stick with topics related to the state and steer clear of "economics".
