...ran out of ...
...ran out of comment space... the last mall I just described is Polo Park Shopping Centre...opened in 1959 with mostly outdoor entrances and later (1967?) internal mall, then 1986 2nd storey added...There is talk of extending Polo Park northward, but this is linear...I agree with Jacque...this should be circular.

In the Winnipeg, Canada metropolitan area, we had two suburban malls designed in a circular way like Jacque is describing ... one of them Unicity Mall (in the Assiniboia area), the other St..Vital Centre (in the St. Vital area)...both were designed and built in the mid and late 1970s. The first one was knocked down and turned into a "power centre"/big box mall. The second one has been expanded twice. We have another suburban mall that is designed as linear and a second level was added in 1986.
