Jacque really has a ...
Jacque really has a horrible tendency not to actually answer people's questions, despite his immense knowledge to do so and go onto these old spiels about these things that happened in his life. I suppose it's his age but it really doesn't help the movement to bring about his ideas.

Actually we do take ...
Actually we do take that into consideration, which is why this is a shift in values from a scarcity-based culture to an egalitarian culture of abundance. Watch Zeitgeist Moving Forward when it is released online on Tuesday, Jan. 25 and you'll understand exactly why there is no such thing as inevitable human greed.

this concept does ...
this concept does not take one thing under consideration, that people in general are insane, there are people that have whatever they want, but they want what the other person has even if its the same thing as they have, there is no way to cure that and there are many people like that, the human cannot be cured by talking and reason, only God can cure a human being through the Bible through Jesus Christ our savior, and thats all

The best thing for ...
The best thing for people to do to help The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project is to just start telling people, friends, coworkers strangers etc. and have them watch all the information on line. That is the best thing to do RIGHT NOW!!!! Educate people! Telling no one is the WORST thing you can do.

Marx's views on ...
Marx's views on capital is actually quite key-on with even today, more so than back then. Go to Brendan Mcooney's youtube page & start watching his video's. He makes it a lot easier for you to understand what Marx was saying. And the idea of there being no solutions, I'd disagree wholeheartedly. Go to RevLeft & you'll see the many solutions being brought forth & how organized we are.

Well, it's not that ...
Well, it's not that Jacque has failed to understand anything about communism, he has certainly read about it. He objects to communism as an ideology because that's all it is; an ideology with no blueprints for how to achieve social change. Communism has not been effective because it proposes no methods of achieving its ends (like religion.) Basically, it's just too subject to interpretation and hence corruption (especially considering that Marx had all of these abstract concepts about "value.")

That is why ...
That is why anarchists & communists, as I feel, will be the ones from now to the future that'll be leading this dream towards reality. As an anarcho-communist, what Jacque has brought forth is merely an evolutionary stage of my belief. Jacque may not see it, but the communist parties are on his side. What Jacque failed to understand is that, communism does not have money, for socialism does. Communism is a stateless, classless, moneyless society, & again, we're with Fresco & his dream.

One of the ZM ...
One of the ZM members, Neil Kiernan tried to come up with a new "anarcho-" label for a resource based economy called "anarcho-virtualism" but really this is just confusing and wouldn't lend itself well to the movement which is more than just a philsophy. But yeah I agree anarcho-communism is similar in goals, but lacks the constructive means of achieving them, which the Venus Project offers.

@theanarchist16, I ...
@theanarchist16, I always thought it was so sad that people can't be trusted to behave responsibly. In motoring, for instance, I frequently bemoaned that speed limits were necessary, speed bumps, parking restrictions... that we needed laws, and police & punishment to enforce them It was only recently I realised that my ideal of society was called ... anarchy! Now I see a similarity between anarchy and atheism; all doing the right thing without carrots or sticks.

as someone that ...
as someone that supports anarcho-communism, the ideology I support is actually exactly how Jacque Fresco is outlining his beliefs. The only thing different is that he's allowing technology to push us forward, which I'm definitely for. I think Jacque points out to old-ideal communism very well on how it hasn't pushed forward any new way of thinking really, for it still operates under the same flawed system, & that is of the monetary system. But, how my ideal works, it coexists with the VP.

She wasn't implying that the Venus Project will kill people, just to be clear. She was saying that violence between the establishment and the people who want change is probably inevitable.

Yea, this is exactly where i got this idea from. KRS is a genius! I'm just glad i didn't stick to Alex Jone's nonsense criticism and flat out lies about the venus project. Everything he said was taken out of context and taken from people he himself is a friend of. It was messed up! Anyway, good day!
