The Zeitgeist Movement Response to FBI Targeting Political Activists as Terrorists
The Zeitgeist Movement is a global sustainability activist group working to bring the world together for the common goal of species sustainability before it is too late. It is a social movement, not a political one, with over 1100 chapters across nearly all countries. Divisionary notions such as nations, governments, races, political parties, religions, creeds or class are non-operational distinctions in the view of The Movement. Rather, we recognize the world as one system and the human species as a singular unit, sharing a common habitat. Our overarching intent could be summarized as "the application of the scientific method for social concern." Adding on to what ...
Adding on to what Critthnk said, "Human Nature" is to not be defined by "Human Nature." Defiance. If I say to You "Oh ALL X's are lazy good-for-nothings!" and You are an X, then you will probably do everything in your power to NOT be a lazy good-for-nothing X. That said, there is only Human Behavior as defined by our environment. Also Darwin (peace be with me) was a dumb fvcking bigot employed by Eugenics who accidentally DISPROVED Eugenics. Fuck Darwin. Darwin sucks. Evo is still cool though.

Everything are ...
Everything are created by subconsciousness mind and so the universe. All religion are based on the same concept and principal from the natural law, conditional causation (cause and affect)."reincarnation" Those people knew that created religion and try to created a society that all humankind will be continue become a slave for them. they created War, they destroyed country, culture and our soul, the ability to know the true of yourself. amitabha

No such instinct ...
No such instinct exists, it is all culturally taught and is relative. We are taught anything the mind knows. We discover the realness of nature through senses and experience, which is really the only real part of life; the rest is faith.

you are correct, the instinct of doing the familiar is stronger then the instinct to survive!

We humans never ...
We humans never seem to learn from our previous mistakes, it is so sad seeing history repeat itself over and over again. The fundamental problem of this, is that humans are afraid of change, we want things to stay the same forever, but that isn't reality, that isn't nature, things do change nothing ever stays the same. I guess that is way Darwin's theory is so debated and even feared, but evolution and change will always happen regardless of our desire of static world.

Well, I've tried. Like Revcat11 was sayin, It's not possible to save someone who wishes not to be helped. Maybe you can relate to this, I know many will.

Some are addicted to smoking, some think its cool. If your not gona try and change them don't expect a better world lol? We are all well adjusted to the culture we come from.

No I dont have to ...
No I dont have to change anyone. I only seek to help and empower those who seek the truth and help them change the habits and behaviors that are bringing them down, and pulling them away from health and love. There are a surprising number of people who do want that kind of help, and an even more alarming number of people who wish to bury themselves in the sand. (example smoking, when the evidence is clear smoking kills, yet millions still smoke?)

word. well said my friend.. I always try to give words of wisdom.. truth over lies..but I guess it takes more wisdom to listen & understand..but I finally understood that no one can't change anyone..it takes them to change themselves..just like no one can't SAVE ANYONE, it takes THEM to SAVE THEMSELVES..

I can from what I ...
I can from what I understand. From what I understand, the movements have split with mutual understanding because they are both similar but separate in goals. But in my personal opinion, because it was too easy to spin the Venus project. But I think its mainly got to do with achieving separate goals. The mainstream media muddles things so quickly theses days that TZM and the Venus project must separate them selves to defend them selves so one is not answering for the other.

Yep, I know someone in Austin, Texas whose been fined for 'sidewalk chalking'. Please, as if such writing would NOT wash off after the first heavy rain (...or heavy pedestrian traffic...). Please keep promoting, advocating and bringing awareness to those who need it against those who want to keep people in the dark!

I There is no 'us ...
I There is no 'us vs. them' because we are all complicit to the current state of the planet. Humans are not 'blank slates' in my opinion, we have innate, evolutionary drives for status and reproduction that lead to behaviours like conspicuous consumption, you have to see it in yourself before you can defeat it. The crucial point here that most seem to miss is, 'EVOLUTION IS NOT OVER' and it's clear that in order to survive we must co-operate and forge an entirely new paradigm.

After carefully ...
After carefully examining the arguments of multiple former IPCC Lead Authors and many others, I'm convinced beyond doubt that the growing rate of Co2 in the atmosphere is a non issue. Dr. Richard Lindzen, Dr. Tim Ball, Dr. John Christy etc. have all basically whistle blown the Anthropogenic Global Warming (or climate change if you prefer the repackaged terminology) declaration right out the window. Looking at the concept of Net Atmospheric Co2 and it's relation to Global Mean temperature you

only need to know a ...
only need to know a few numbers to start to see that things don't really add up. Of total atmospheric Co2 mans contribution is less than 4%. So, 96%+ is generated from nature. If mans Co2 dropped to 0 emissions the effect on radiative forcing and thus global mean temperature is next to nil. Couple degrees. Maybe. Probably less and global mean temperature isn't a measure of any current optimum anyways. It's just an average of the thousands of micro-climates all over the earth.

Can someone explain why the Venus Project is trying to distance themselves from Zeitgeist?

@CPheros Its not ...
@CPheros Its not about the truth of what god religions are. Its about how it effects us in reality. The effects of religion on people are vastly destructive, similar to money.
