Transition to a resource-based economy pitch- Oskar Gonzalez Full

Here I propose a different conceptual approach to the idea of transitioning into a resource-based economy. The first part addresses what arriving at solutions means, then my application of those concepts to deliver solutions that I have arrived at: how to transition into a RBE.

Questions show ...
Questions show interest, I'd say to break it down into level 1,2,3 or something similar. Otherwise its a lot to take in and people who use the internet have a low attention span. lol... Just my thoughts.

Thats not a flaw with this, its merely a point to consider.

I gave up on ...
I gave up on catering to demographics. I posted a short bullet point version and had so many questions i ended up talking even longer because i went over and repeated all this information a couple of times. If its too long or too short, fuck it. Im just putting it out there anyway.

A more important ...
A more important question, but equally substantiated, would be, not is he high, but does he trim his pubes?

Over explaining. ...
Over explaining. This all could have been explained in 10-15. Bullet points and then people can take the time and look up those points and see if it made sense to them.

A few of us tried ...
A few of us tried to put together a website that puts this into practice. We came to the conclusion that there are different categories of items: things you need, things you dont use all the time, and excess things you dont need. If I give you a toothbrush, i dont want that back. Some items you borrow and give back, other you borrow and give to others when you are done. But the real issue of why we need money is to deal with real and perceived scarcity. This lecture is a tiny attempt to do somet

From how I ...
From how I understand an R.B.E. to work, we would have an abundance of these things (cell phones, razors, toothbrushes, ect) where everyone would have one to keep for as long as those things work. So I imagine that it would be possible for everyone in the world to have something that they need according to the theory of using better materials and things to sustain the life of a razor or shirt. However I have trouble understanding why we would need a government to solve this issue.

No, but this ...
No, but this problem can mean 1 of 2 things: 1) We need a government or 2) If we have enough resources to distributed billions of phones and let's say 4 billion houses/apartments, it's not a problem.

Excellent point, this is something I've wondered about as well. Any ideas?

There's one flaw ...
There's one flaw with this: Access VS Ownership If I want to make a phone call, I would have to go all the way down to the library to get a phone. That would be a hassle. But how about I rent the phone for a month? It's not like I'll need it the next month. Oh wait, I will. There are things that we need consistently such as phones, clothes, computers, houses, appliances, furniture, etc.

The transiton part ...
The transiton part being shalow: think of it as a digital map zooomed out to see the globe. It keeps in mind the overal picture but not very useful as a guide towards your destination. I can go more detail, analogous to zooming in on a map, giving specific step by step instructions on how to live their daily lives. But I rather people think for themselves and find their own path, using this lecture as conceptual only. I will put out more videos soon with more elaboration. Oskar

what are ur ...
what are ur thoughts on this being a system incapable of keeping up with the rate of technological development, being static and unable to change, a mechanism for WAR PROFITEERING? what is it about an RBE model that u fear so much and willing to defend ur counrty against but aint willing to rise up against the current System thats destorying our species and Earth's Life Supporting Systems left and right?

and what is it that ...
and what is it that u would like to have implemented if not an RBE, do support the current paradigm or do u not? what do u think should be done given the current rate of resource consumption with total disregard for the state of the Earth's Life Supporting Systems (Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, Biosphere) and the total disregard for human life that is OBVIOUSLY PROFIT DRIVEN, what is thoughts that the current economic paradigm is inherently flawed and obsolete?

Very interesting, ...
Very interesting, specially the beggining part, but didnt quite vision it towards the end, on the transition part is shalow. Imagine this: The purpose of life is self realization. The development of the self at 3 levels: physical, mental, and spiritual. Everyday presents us with the unique opportunity to better our selfs at the 3 levels. But our economic system prevents us from this. If a fund was created to liberate a selected few from the money slaving chains and the results would free us all.

Sounds like more skepticism to me... jeeze, idunno one thing is for sure, I trust myself and YouTube a lot more then anything you'd find on TV or in magazines .. which happens to be what people spend most of their free time doing.. kind of odd.

no, the approach is still the same. In first ten minutes speaker is giving you some obvious examples to make you agree with him in general and then he continues speaking about other things not so obvious but you have your imagination of truthful speaker, so he can gain over you easier.
