When your wealthy, its easy to be generous, however try giving it all up for the greater good and see how impossible this would be for someone of this calibre. I would say, like most people who have such wealth and power, that they do not wish to give this lifestyle up for the 99%.

I have never been in a situation like Oprah owning networks and having the finance and control of power available she has, she may help many with her charities, large donations etc, but these are tax deductible, meaning she can can set these costs (donations) off against her income, meaning she pays less tax than most of us would earning far less.

My latest attempt ...
My latest attempt to spread the word of TVP has been to post a petition to the White House "We the People" site asking for them to compel the world to look at a RBE. Find it here at wh . gov / 2z6 (remove the spaces) as it needs 150 signers before it will be made public and then it needs 25,000 to get reviewed. It is a long shot but I had to try! Please help by signing.

also, I think it was 5 months ago I became aware of Oprah creating her own TV channel - and seeing as how she is supposedly all about helping people (making money) I joked that if she really wanted to help people she would do something like that. Create a "Utopian" channel.

lol, this wat I love about youtube, I don't even remember making that comment, 5 months later I get a response & come back to find its the top comment, ty. I didn't see it any where, wat I meant was that to show a "utopia" is possible u need to show it working, which means everything from documentaries to sitcoms - like if u showed another world it wud make more ppl want to live in it, I think us who want to see a better world spend too much time criticizing & not enuf time building.
