Thank you. We ...
Thank you. We absolutely agree with you regarding the accent and authenticity. We rely on volunteers for our audio and often the best matches are not available. Sometimes we must make sacrifices and consider both the book and the reader. As you point out, Elizabeth Klett does such a great job. We are thankful for her contribution. Kind regards.

Wow I'm so glad she didn't proceed reading in an American accent (I was horrified when I heard her say the title). No offense meant however - merely an issue of mine with how authentic it must sound - should it have been authored by an American, I would have likewise preferred it to be read in an American accent. All aside, I give Ms. Klett much credit for reading so engagingly!

Very Cool. You ...
Very Cool. You should also check out " Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton",. Another excellent book by an excellent female writer. We will be releasing it soon.

Excuse my ignorant ...
Excuse my ignorant chauvinism: but for the longest time I thought women unfit at writing; most of the books that I had read by female writers were of wishy-washy sentiments, none of it very keen or interesting; but reading the works of classic writers, such as Charlotte Bronte and Jane Eyre; Pride & Prejudice and Jane Austen; which are now among my most favorite of books, have coaxed me out of my ignorance.

I'm thinking that "the said" is just another alternative of "the mentioned", "mentioned before" or "people that were mentioned"

Funny. Never ...
Funny. Never thought of that. My guess is that she keeps going until she messes up. I have never actually been around when they record. I don't think I could be a reader. I would take way too may breaks.

If you mean that " ...
If you mean that "the said" is confusing. It's just a fancier, or more specific way of saying "they" or "it". For example, "I just watched Chapter 1 of Jane Eyre. The said video is awesome."
