Hi, You got me ...
Hi, You got me thinking. You say you have no problem knocking someone´s teeth out if they look at you wrong. I guess you feel they are not being respectful. But in a situation like that maybe force is not the ultimate expression of strength. Maybe realizing that being a peaceful centered person that is not "affected" by someone else´s behavior is the real manifestation of strength. Just like you don´t feel threatened by a 7 year old who looks at you wrong. Just throwing an idea to you. Peace!!!!

And no I'm not poor ...
And no I'm not poor or uneducated. No major money problems and I like my job. My parents are not divorced and I've had a pretty decent childhood. But, i admit I like to fight and sometimes perfectly handling an argument with my fist. Just being honest.

So, if you look at ...
So, if you look at me wrong or say something to my girlfriend I don't like i have NO problem taking a bat to your face. I'm not kidding because I've done it before. I have no trouble knocking someone's teeth out. I find it quite rational. I guess I'm not sure how this "movement" would matter in that regard.

(Part 3 of 3) I'm ...
(Part 3 of 3) I'm not trying to start anything, but from watching & listening to Jacque's lectures on his Youtube channel "The Venus Project Media", one becomes conscious of the fact that something is truly missing from these ZM meetings and the movement in general.

MyMindTank on 2011-09-24
(Part 2 of 3) Why ...
(Part 2 of 3) Why doesn't Peter give respectful acknowledgement to what he has learned from his personal meetings with Jacque?, to Jacque's coined notions that appear to be used haphazardly in this meeting? What was the true reason behind the splitting of TZM & TVP? Why isn't Jacque at any of these TZM meetings sharing his sincere wisdom that Peter is aware of from his meetings with him?....

(Part 1 of 3) In ...
(Part 1 of 3) In the beginning of TZM Activist Orientation Guide Preface, it reads "The Zeitgeist Movement is the activist arm of The Venus Project , which constitutes the life long work of industrial designer and social engineer, Jacque Fresco." I am all for TZM & TVP, but I sense some unaccreditation in this meeting for Jacque's "life long hard work"....

I agree. If there's enough determination to do this, it's more than possible. Thanks. I appreciate it.

Yes, just like the ...
Yes, just like the volunteer fire fighters we have today. It might be organized differently than modern police too. In my country .2% of the population are police. Take away money incentive, the stresses caused by poverty and inequality, and remove useless laws like drug prohibition and you would eliminate almost all crime. You would only need about .02% of people for 'police' and that duty could be split between volunteers who each work 1 day per week.

TheDarkFenix on 2011-08-20
Yeah, i've always ...
Yeah, i've always thought this was the logical thing to do. But how would these policemen be paid? Would they be volunteers?

stochastic24 on 2011-08-20
Also, eventually ...
Also, eventually guns would be mostly phased out as they don't have much practical use once we become one global cooperative society. That is only a rational prediction however and we have to keep in mind that once we eliminate the massive amount of stress, violence and suffering caused by our current global system and we become truly free and united as a global society, things will be so different that only then will we know how to move forward, if guns are needed or not, etc.

stochastic24 on 2011-08-20
The idea is that ...
The idea is that you would keep police as long as you have to, the goal would be to reduce and eventually eliminate crime but we would keep a form of security as long as needed. If we eventually did eliminate all crime, only then would we have no security measures such as police. However as mentioned most crime is money related so we would reduce police forces drastically to reflect the decrease in crime.

the easily wounded are in the most dire need of pain.

what makes a crazy ...
what makes a crazy person turn to violence instead of, say, art?

TheDarkFenix on 2011-08-14
The non monetary ...
The non monetary crimes was a great question, and i agree with peter on his answer. But my problem with it is how do we catch them, how do we stop them? The RBE, as far as i know, won't ban anything, including guns. So a "sick" individual gets access to a machine gun and goes crazy, it also happens right now of course. But today we have police and armies. In a RBE with no police force, these people won't stop at nothing or they'll make a good amount of havoc before they stop....

.. My ...
.. My reaction? This change of our global civilization that Peter puts into words so more precisely and thoroughly analyzed than I have ever heard from anyone ever, is inevitable. The Earth demands a more responsible lifestyle from us all. Or we perish. That is what evolution is all about. It is as simpel as that. Moreover, if this can happen, Peter may well be remembered as the most important person in history.

fisterB on 2011-08-06
Even with all the ...
Even with all the goobledegook from self appointed defenders of the current system, which by the way looks increasingly day by day, more like a dead cow on the wayside of history, all the usual New World Order nut jobs, all the usual patriots whining about communism at anything different, it will still sort itself out, such is evolution. Peter's role as a catalyst is actually not even needed anymore.
