How could a place ...
How could a place with almost no water have all that extra food? This could be remade with more time spent on Quirt meeting Laredo Stevens(having Randy as an eye for his back and an ear to the ground),seeing how Laredo was operating his cattle rustling skeem and his flunkies running around for cigers. The love story is thoughtful with a good feeling & is fast paced. The final gun fight is a real classic, with the cop in a bunker made of railroad ties, waiting until he's needed to defend Quirt.
