Anybody who belongs to the republican party is insane. It's one of the most suppressing undemocratic delusional self centered religious organizations in the history world & harbinger of chaos.

Terrence's ...
Terrence's intelligence has been discarded as just being weird or eccentric, but his ability to pull the curtain back, really makes me think that he is a misunderstood genius of a different kind. We like to to think of geniuses as being math wizards, or someone who has a lot of reason. What if there is such a thing as a creative genius?

Ron Paul is for ...
Ron Paul is for everyone having the most freedom and individual liberty they can. He believes in non-violation, it's a movement built upon liberty, love, and non-aggressive activism. He supports the free market because it could most definitely provide a better alternative to today, and a necessary step to a better tomorrow. I first heard about Ron Paul a few years ago, and it's changed my life. Now look, I'm watching a Terence Mckenna Video. Ron Paul, Gateway Drug to enlightenment.

Electing a ...
Electing a president isn't going to do a thing to save the world, or even the US for that matter. Psychedelics compete with corporations? What? The US government and the president don't regulate the corporations, the corporations own and regulate the world because the world has been turned into a business and they have the most money. Psychedelics don't compete with anything. All we can do is to forget the silly political competitions and spread the psychedelic message.

Why shouldn't ...
Why shouldn't people be supporting Ron Paul? I understand and completely agree with what Terence McKenna is saying in this video, but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't be pushing for change within the system that exists right now.

Ron Paul isn't for ...
Ron Paul isn't for controlling culture, either. The Republicans and Democrats in office are. Paul wants to give us the freedom to run our lives the way we want to. Paul is a Christian--while I am not--yet I understand that he doesn't wan to turn America into some neurotic theocracy(like Santorum). Consumer capitalism is dumb, yet government/corporate hegemony is evil. In Paul's ideal world, corporations would be forced to compete, just like other businesses. And psychedelics. RON PAUL 2012.

Yes and no. I don't ...
Yes and no. I don't have a problem with lots of Ron Paul's ideas but i do have a problem, with the idea that a free market means liberty. What it really is, is a call for complete corporate tyranny, which is worse than big government tyranny because at least in a half-decent democracy the people have some say compared to private corps which are complete totalitarian institutions. The whole 'libertarian' view of markets & gov. is completely backwards. I won't go into detail in a single comment.

dsleeperhold on 2012-04-08
the intolerable ...
the intolerable effects of capitalism are aimed at making money for the people that pay taxes to the goverment. Materialism IS the problem, but much more so because American goverment policy exploits second and third world societies. Ron pauls views on non-interventionism go alot further than pulling out of wars. He is not the start of a sustainable society, but he would do a lot for world peace, and from there and there only, can all societies rethink the materialism that drives them.

Capitalism today is ...
Capitalism today is not a "Free Market." It's pretty well dominated by the government. Capitalism is supposed to be about freely exchanging what you feel like without Mommy and Daddy telling you what you should do (since, obviously, no one knows that but you)

Ron Paul 2012. He is the hope we are looking for. Someone has to stand up to our tyrannical government to make the changes we want.

liberaustrian on 2012-04-07
Ron Paul himself ...
Ron Paul himself may not be anti-culture, but he is for allowing you to love your life how you want to. That means that you can explore your consciousness without the threat of the state forcing you to stop. Just because he believes in capitalism doesn't mean that he isn't a leader that people that listen to Terrance can support. He believes in freedom. That is what we all want, right? The capitalism Ron Paul supports is nothing like the capitalism that exists today either.

I think you're ...
I think you're confusing the Green Party with the Bilderberg Group. How do you even know if the elections aren't completely rigged? A bogus electoral system is already "IMPLEMENTED"... How does Ron Paul differ from this agenda? The media acknowledges him. Wouldn't you think they are behind this agenda too? They haven't changed. They have always been "fair and balanced", right?
