Nice speech JB! I agree with every word you said on that video, but I don't really think it's plausible to believe people will allow money to be put in second plane in the world we're living in, the world works in the way to manipulate the highest number of people possible into a blind valorization of a bunch of superfluous things like money itself. As much as I'd like to believe otherwise I just fail to see an horizon for change under those circumstances...

The system is flawed, though. Money always flows upwards, as I explained. We need a system that doesn't support greed.

I don't agree with ...
I don't agree with everything, but certainly interesting ideas :). Charity isn't only giving money though. Sometimes the money is spend on education, so people can become more self-reliant. The monetary system is just something to show the value of things, to make trade easier. The things we do with that system aren't always that nice though. A system where everyone contributes would be great, yes. dftba, fijn weekend :).

I agree 100%. The economic system isn't working. Hasn't worked. We need to get rid of it, there's no fixing something that will only function for a limited time and we'll still be in the same position--screwed.
