The choppers (1961)

The Choppers (1961)
The Isotope Guerrilla Cult Theatre Proudly Presents: THE CHOPPERS If you cool cats like classic hotrod cars, bad boys from the other side of the tracks, sexy blondes in tight shirts, insipidly catchy songs, goofy teen idol good looks, and the world's biggest cell phone... this one is for you! Hot rods, hot rock, and hot hair are the jewels in the juvenile delinquency crown of THE CHOPPERS. This classic drive-in exploitation flick features the debut of sixteen year-old Arch Hall Jr. as Cruiser, the spoiled rich kid with a taste for crime and his band of troubled teens who call themselves cool names like Torch, Flip and Snoop, and specialize in stripping cars in record time. This is the movie that made you mom weak in the knees and your daddy worried about the crowd you run with. Featuring the some exceptional less-than-hit songs from the awesome Arch Hall Jr, including non-classics like "Konga Joe" and "Monkey In A Hatband". Live Fast Die Young! -- The Isotope Guerrilla Cult Theatre features pubic domain trashy flicks from Hollywood's yesteryear for your viewing enjoyment. These films are undisputedly in the public domain in the USA, and in all known cases no underlying music or literary rights have been claimed. If any rights are disputed we will be happy to remove the film from our virtual cinema. If you like these movies look up the actors, directors, and musicans on-line and send them gift baskets, cool swag, and/or money. The Isotope doesn't want anything from you ...

The beast of yucca flats (1961)

The Beast of Yucca Flats (1961)
The Isotope Guerrilla Cult Theatre Proudly Presents: THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS Americans have always wondered what the strange and eerie results might be of the hundreds of atomic tests that shattered the skyline over Yucca Flats, Nevada in the 40's and 50's... and thanks to low-rent director supreme Coleman Francis and B-movie star of the first magnitude Tor Johnson, they finally got their answer. This 1961 thriller includes everything you could possibly want in a drive-in anti-classic: secret atomic testing, innocent victims, KGB agents armed to the teeth, bumbling police officers, nearly naked girls, and one hell of a creepy baddie. You're stomach will churn from the first geiger counter soundtracked necrophilliac love scene to the bunny-laden final act! The glorious Tor Johnson can also be seen in Plan 9 From Outer Space, Carousel, and Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion. -- The Isotope Guerrilla Cult Theatre features pubic domain trashy flicks from Hollywood's yesteryear for your viewing enjoyment. Larry Cohen introduces The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover
04/15/08 - Guerilla filmmaker Larry Cohen introduces The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover (1977) at the New Beverly Theater. This was part of "Dante's Inferno", a two week festival of double features programmed by Joe Dante at the New Beverly Cinema. (04/09/08 - 04/22/08) Worth noting: I'm not sure why, but Cohen mentions here that Deputy Director of the FBI Clyde Tolson was Deepthroat. In actuality, it was Tolson's predecessor, Mark Felt, who was revealed to be the infamous Watergate whistlebower and it's his name that is cited beneath the newspaper headline at the end of the film, NOT Clyde Tolson's. Also, the voice you hear at the very end of this clip is none other than John Landis. Apologies that the media card ran out of space or I would've continued the clip. 04/15/08: The Sadist (1963) The Private Files of J. anti-scientology film the bridge by brett hanover part 1
www.xenu-directory.net download the entire movie: www.info-sectes.ch "In 2001, anti-Scientology crusader Bob Minton funded a $3 million movie called The Profit. Intended as an exposure of the secrets behind Scientology, The Profit was plagued with problems from the start. The Church of Scientology unleashed its dreaded attack machine in the form of litigation and dirty tricks, and while the movie was completed, no one wanted to touch it. The film did have one single screening in Clearwater, Florida (the home of Scientology's largest facility, the Fort Harrison Hotel or "Flag Land Base""); but after that it disappeared. Teenage zombies (1959)

Teenage Zombies (1959)
Your typical Z-grade teen horror flick from Sputnik era America, this movie belongs to the Ed Wood school of guerrilla filmmaking: no permits (rip and run before the cops come; establishing shot of a building obviously shot from the inside of someone's shaky car), cardboard-looking sets, community theater acting, plenty of padding, recycled music from other films, etc. Written, produced and directed by Jerry Warren, who is also responsible for "The Wild World of Batwoman" (1966). WARNING: This movie is extremely boring and pointless! Watch at your own risk! The plot follows as such: Teenagers go water-skiing, but are captured by an evil female scientist who wants to use them for her evil experiments. As such, the missing teen's friends go searching for them against the advice of adults. www.imdb.com

Return to lake havasu

Return to Lake Havasu
Trailer for the film "Return to Lake Havasu", which documents the story behind the making of the 1971 cult heist movie "Day of the Wolves". LOG LINE: When small town America met Hollywood USA. SYNOPSIS: In 1971, a maverick filmmaker and his crew descended upon a small town in Arizona to make a movie. Using dozens of interviews and never before seen images, we document how the production of the cult film "Day of the Wolves", thought by many reviewers to be an inspiration for Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs", affected the lives of early residents of Lake Havasu City. SUMMARY: In 1971 the town of Lake Havasu was still little more than a semi-complete housing estate with a small strip mall and high school. People had come to settle in Lake Havasu from all over the United States, but especially from small towns in Illinois, looking for a new life and warmer climate. Reconstruction of the London Bridge in the center of town was almost complete, and was envisioned by the towns creator, Robert J. McCulloch, as a major tourist attraction. In the hopes of bringing film productions (and publicity) to Lake Havasu, the McCulloch Corporation, which functionally owned and ran Lake Havasu, invited filmmakers to visit. One of the filmmakers on that flight to Lake Havasu was the maverick film producer Ferde Grofé, son of the famous composer of the same name. Starting out as a production assistant to Sam Katzman at Columbia studios, Grofé progressed to producing his own movies, first ...

Othello el comando negro aka othello the black commando max h boulois 1982

Othello el comando negro aka Othello the Black Commando Max H Boulois 1982
Drive By Theater and zeroheadroom.com present the last rare clip of 2010! A famous Shakespeare play turned into a wacky mercenary film. Look at the titles and they even credit William S himself and the music by Beethoven even though this is a low budget exploitation film. Max H. Boulois' only film as producer and last film as director tries hard to make this such a sarious film and with Tony Curtis and Joanna Pettet who both star in this film and try to lend some credibility but both must have have been at career low points to be in such a flick. Tony C himself faxes in a performance and seems to be raveged by addictions. For all their attempts at quality, what lets down the film is the audio mix as they did a poor job as the music drowns out half the dialogue and it's hard to see what people are saying. The looping also is really bad and copious amounts of stock wart footage try to round out the meagre budget and dialogue? forget it. Great if you like exploitation film dialogue. Plot The story involves an international Red Cross column who are wiped out as it proceeds to Tubesti, Africa, a remote region where both war and a viral epidemic have broken out. Dr. Desdemona Ferguson (Joanna Pettet), the daughter of an influential United States Senator, tries to pull all her strings to Washington in order to obtain help and protection for her stranded group and the stricken community. In this hellhole of death and destruction, she runs head on into General "Black Commando ...

Sejayno | "alien eyes"

Sejayno |
Buy "Alien Eyes" and other Sejayno tunes: www.ehserecords.com The Prieuré de Sion, translated from French as Priory of Sion, is a name given to multiple groups, both real and fictitious. The most notorious is a fringe fraternal organization, founded and dissolved in France in 1956 by Pierre Plantard. In the 1960s, Plantard created a history for that organization, describing it as a secret society founded in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1099, which preserves the bloodlines of the Merovingian dynasty. This myth was expanded upon and popularized by the 1982 controversial book The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, and later claimed as factual in the preface of the 2003 conspiracy fiction novel The Da Vinci Code. Scion is a marque of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation founded in 2002. Scion's long-term goal is to appeal to Generation Y consumers. Scion grew from Toyota Project Genesis, a failed effort to bring younger buyers to the Toyota marque in the United States. To advertise the Scion, Toyota began a new campaign for the Scion using a form of guerrilla marketing, using posters and ads in movie theaters and TV to direct consumers to the sites want2bsquare.org, want2bsquare.tv, and want2bsquare.info. Scion is also currently running their own viral marketing website Scion bB, to promote other artists and events that they sponsor. Shows like Slick's Picks go around the country interviewing artists, stores, events, and put short videos on the site. Scion Radio 17 is an ...

Authors@google presents david sirota: back to our future

Authors@Google Presents David Sirota: Back to Our Future
Wall Street scandals. Fights over taxes. Racial resentments. A Lakers-Celtics championship. The Karate Kid topping the box-office charts. Bon Jovi touring the country. These words could describe our current moment—or the vaunted iconography of three decades past. In this wide-ranging and wickedly entertaining book, New York Times bestselling journalist David Sirota takes readers on a rollicking DeLorean ride back in time to reveal how so many of our present-day conflicts are rooted in the larger-than-life pop culture of the 1980s—from the "Greed is good" ethos of Gordon Gekko (and Bernie Madoff) to the "Make my day" foreign policy of Ronald Reagan (and George W. Bush) to the "transcendence" of Cliff Huxtable (and Barack Obama). Today's mindless militarism and hypernarcissism, Sirota argues, first became the norm when an '80s generation weaned on Rambo one-liners and "Just Do It" exhortations embraced a new religion—with comic books, cartoons, sneaker commercials, videogames, and even children's toys serving as the key instruments of cultural indoctrination. Meanwhile, in productions such as Back to the Future, Family Ties, and The Big Chill, a campaign was launched to reimagine the 1950s as America's lost golden age and vilify the 1960s as the source of all our troubles. That 1980s revisionism, Sirota shows, still rages today, with Barack Obama cast as the 60s hippie being assailed by Alex P. Keaton--esque Republicans who long for a return to Eisenhower-era conservatism ...

Mohamed hassanein heikal interview on the arab-israeli conflict (1972)

Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Interview on the Arab-Israeli Conflict (1972)
DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchived.blogspot.com Mohamed Hassanein Heikal (Arabic: محمد حسنين هيكل‎, born 23 September 1923) is a leading Egyptian journalist. For 17 years (1957--1974) he was editor-in-chief of the Cairo newspaper Al-Ahram and has been a respected commentator on Arab affairs for more than 50 years. The Arab--Israeli conflict (Arabic: الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي‎, Hebrew: הסכסוך הישראלי-ערבי‎) refers to the political tensions and open hostilities between the Arab peoples and the Jewish community of the Middle East that have lasted for over a century. Some trace the beginning of the conflict to large-scale Jewish return to Palestine, especially after the establishment of the Zionist movement, which intensified with the creation of the modern State of Israel in 1948. Others see it as a part of Arab nationalism, whose central premise is that the peoples of the Arab world, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Sea, constitute one nation bound together by common linguistic, cultural, religious, and historical heritage. Territory regarded by the Jewish people as their historical homeland is regarded by the Pan-Arab movement as belonging to the Palestinian Arabs, and in the Pan-Islamic context, in territory regarded as Muslim lands. The conflict, which started as a political and nationalist conflict over competing territorial ambitions following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, has shifted over the years from the large scale regional Arab--Israeli conflict to a ...
