Remember this is a British-based special...this is not the world-wide -- especially not the American Top 100 Stand-ups of All Time. This depicts the viewpoint of the residents of Great Britain...so imagine that you grew up watching comedy in the UK. If you look at this from an American or another country's Comedy experience, you would be totally confused. The top 100 Consist of mainly British Comedians with a few Americans, like Robin Williams, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, and Chris Rock. However, Bill Hicks is the Only American Comedian that ranks in the Top Five. That is Awesome. I bet he wouldn't rank in the Top Five for most Americans. Sorry America, you just don't get it. Why? Balance...remember? What the British lack in emotions, they make up for in intelligence. What Americans lack in intelligence, they make up for in emotions. That is my general point of view.
