The universe is deterministic if two premises are true. The first premise is that only physical stuff (matter and energy) exists. The second premise is that causality is real. Fate vs. free will

Right before you enter your physical reality experience you are given some kind of fate. You are given (general) themes to explore that pop-up sporadically throughout your life experience. It is through these experiences that you will become conscious of your ability to write in the details. That is the free will part. That's why they say everything in life is a choice. Should you fight your fate/could you fight your fate? Of course you could. Anything is possible in this Universe. But remember that it is your fate...your sacred oath...your agreement to whatever higher power you believe in that helped guide you to this experience. The easiest thing to do is just acknowledge that there are higher powers out there (even if it is within yourself) and carve out a life experience of your choosing. All the work has been done. You're here. You're now. You're it. Don't follow the pack and become another henchmen. We have enough of those in the world. We need leaders. You don't need to know physics to understand the Universe. You just need to know yourself. It's designed to be that easy. Learn how to stand out in life for the right reasons. And it has nothing to do with the current world that we live in that is very shallow and superficial. It is about searching deep within yourself: for it is you that is the creator. The arrow can be explained by assuming that the very early universe was extremely orderly, and disorder has been increasing ever since. But why did the universe start out so orderly? I will talk about the nature of time, the origin of entropy, and how what happened before the Big Bang may be responsible for the arrow of time we observe today. Speaker Info: Sean Carroll I'm a theoretical physicist at Caltech in sunny Pasadena, California. My research interests include theoretical aspects of cosmology, field theory, and gravitation. I want to learn about fundamental physics by studying the structure and evolution of the universe.
