Anaphylaxis Australia is proud to announce a new campaign for Food Allergy Awareness Week, from May 16-21. It is part of ongoing efforts to increase the awareness around food safety, which recently led to Australia being touted internationally as a world-leader in food safety. With an alarming 1 in 10 children now being food allergic, Anaphylaxis Australia is even more committed to improving food safety for those living with food allergy and those who need to manage the risk of anaphylaxis. The campaign features a new Community Service Announcement (on air from May 7 -- July 31), featuring comedian Pete Helliar, former President of the Australian Medical Association Dr Mukesh Haikerwal, and chef Alex Herbert.
