We ride the home made boats across flooded streets ( Caruncho Ave). Although the sun was out, the streets around Pasig City Hall up to the Pasig market were still flooded. TxDOT's Midland Maintenance Section reports water on roadway at the Garden City highway (SH 158) and SH 137 Intersection at IH-20 & FM 307 closed due to high water. IH-20 & SH 158 is open , but there is water on road. Water on roadway at the intersection of SH 349 and FM 1787 south of Midland. At the North Frontage Road and IH-20 east interchange, there is mud on service road, reported slick, use caution. UPDATE: 9:50 AM Heavy rains and flash flooding have once again impacted the Permian Basin. Midland was the hardest hit area. 1.39" of rain was reported at Midland International Airport, however there have been multiple reports of 3" or more from Greenwood and Northern Midland. Neighborhoods near the Scharbauer Draw were flooded and reports of submerged vehicles were common across Midland County. Taken last Monday afternoon. Up until now the waters' depth you see in the video is still the same. It's hard to get in and out of the area. We used modified pedicabs to get through the flooded streets. Cement and other types of trucks try to accommodate evacuees just as they were about to leave the area. Last Sunday, 3 trucks of hog dealers backed up and left the area after being stranded for more than 24 hours w/ most of the pigs already dead. No trucks w/ relief goods or rescue teams to be seen aside from a single military truck from the AFP (thanks guys!). Several city streets in St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids and Sartell were closed for a time today due to flooding from a heavy rainfall. This is 25th Ave and Division Street, and later, the downtown area on 9th Avenue in St.Cloud, Mn. ON A SIDE NOTE: I returned to the location of the 9th Ave flooding a few hours later and discoverered that the man-hole cover, that was pushed off of the sidewalk by water pressure as seen in the final shot, remained dangerously displaced. I kicked it back into position and continuing my walk to Lake George which had clearly raised in depth by at least a foot. I also discovered clues as to how deep the water had become during this flood. You may be able to see for yourself if you look at the line of debris pushed several feet above the street as you travel 9th Ave below the HWY 23 overpass. CNBNEWS.NET-Touring Gloucester City on Sunday, August 28, 2011 looking for storm damage from Hurricane Irene. We start this clip at the former CG base on King Street, visit Proprietors Park and then head to Water and Charles Street. What we found was some fallen trees and tree branches along with local flooding. Two streets that always flood are Water Street and Charles Street. Both streets are near the proposed South Port Development area. It is obvious before any development could occur at South Port the infrastructure would have to be repaired. After all these years talking about developing this area you would have thought this problem would have been corrected first. ERROR: DATE ON VID SHOULD SAY 2011 NOT 2010. This is a combination of 10 videos I took this morning walking around the inner city and further out in the suburbs. The CBD has been closed all week & is now partly open. This video includes Margaret, Victoria, Russell, South and Long Streets. It shows Gardentown to Grand Central crossing where the water hit the CBD, City Library carpark, Coffee Club, Rowes, National Hotel, rail bridge on Long St near the Maori Yeast factory, South Street Bridge. I'm not a tourist in Toowoomba randomly checking out the sights. I've lived here since 1989 so every place I walked today I'm familiar with and it's hard to fathom what's happened. Nyc street flooding | torrential downpours- august 14th, 2011

What a deluge here in NYC today! The rains began yesterday evening around 10pm and have not let up since then. I was awoken by several bouts of storms during the overnight hours and by the time I got up this morning, my neighborhood here in NYC had already received over 2 inches of rain. We've more than doubled that since then and I headed out the door around 10am to document some of the flooding around my area. This video was shot right near the intersection of Metropolitan Ave & Cooper Ave in Middle Village, NY.
