Consequently, the performance of devices has been improved. Such top-down processing is supported by optical lithography technology, where patterns are created from polymer materials using light to form masks for processing, and plasma etching technology, where processing is done using plasma. But both of these processes have problems when devices are made smaller. Q In optical lithography, miniaturization has progressed by using shorter wavelengths of light. But the use of shorter wavelengths is very close to its limit, due to lens effects. And with plasma etching, the problem is that the process creates a lot of defects in the surface structures of patterns, due to charge and UV being emitted from the plasma to the substrate. And when it comes to nanostructures, such defects cause big defects in device characteristics. In devices smaller than 22nm , it becomes very difficult to use these two technologies. Super secret underground

Researcher Richard Sauder discussed the black budget world of super-secret underground, and undersea, bases and tunnels, and the vast sums of money siphoned off from the economy to build them. Such bases are operated by both civil and military agencies, but in addition to them, there are Fortune 1000 companies with underground installations, as well as religious organizations, and possibly ETs, he detailed. This film warned that decontamination of vehicles and persons were vitally important after a chemical, biological, or radiological attack. After an attack, units should have marked contaminated areas with approved signs indicating the time, date, and agent used. The four methods of decontamination were natural, removing, covering, and destroying. The first method, natural decontamination, was the easiest of all the methods for removing biological and chemical agents. Wind, evaporation, rain, sunlight and aging all decay biological, chemical, and radiactive material from fallout. The second method, removing, had both a wet and dry process. The dry process required brushing, wiping, or scraping CBR agents. The wet process used soapy water and disinfectant to decontaminate CBR agents. These experimental observations lead us to three main questions: How quantum coherence can persist in such warm and wet conditions? What is the role of quantum effects in their biological performance? And how we can exploit similar phenomena for designing artificial systems for efficient light-harvesting and sensing. In this talk, I address these questions and demonstrate that an interplay of quantum coherence with environmental interactions leads to optimal and robust quantum transport in these biological complexes. The performance of these systems for transporting excitation energy is explored under realistic (non-perturbative and non-Markovian) interactions to their environment. In particular, the effects of environmental strength, memory, and symmetries on the energy transfer efficiency is studied. Google Workshop on Quantum Biology Experimental Studies on a Single Microtubule: Investigation of Electronic Transport Properties Presented by Anirban Bandyopadhyay October 22, 2010 ABSTRACT Using nanotechnology we have studied electronic transport properties of a single microtubule (MT) under direct current/bias (DC) and alternating current (AC) of varying frequencies. Our study ranged from 10 K to the room temperature. At specific, 1) spontaneous MT growth under AC signal that led to Froelich Condensation, 2) ballistic electronic transport under DC and AC signal, 3) ferroelectric MT properties under DC signal. Applications of MT as a multilevel information processing and memory device (beyond binary logic) will be discussed. I will present our rigorous study to unravel the origin of room temperature coherent transport in terms of band energy diagrams where point contacts between valence and conduction band triggers transport of electrons/quasi particles. Finally, I will describe challenges and resolution of detection of MT topological qubits based on Hemchandra/Fibonacci MT geometry at physiological temperature.
