He subsequently became a naturalized British subject. Educated in Germany, he resolved in 1826 to devote himself to missionary work, and in 1828 went to London to prepare for an appointment offered him by the Society for promoting Christianity among the Jews. In 1830, however, he gave up the idea of missionary work, and became minister of a small congregation at Teignmouth, Devonshire. He contended that the temporal as well as the spiritual needs of life could be supplied by prayer, and on this principle abolished pew rents and refused to take a fixed salary. After two years at Teignmouth, Müller removed to Bristol, where he spent the rest of his life. He saw the great awakening of 1859 which he said "led to the conversion of hundreds of thousands."1 He did follow up work for DL Moody, preached for Charles Spurgeon, and inspired the missionary faith of Hudson Taylor. Artemis fowl, animated audiobook chapter 1, ma music production group project

This was an introductory 4 week group project between 6 people. My group included: Joseph Pagan (me), Andy Williamson, SoohWan Ahn, Miles Monty, Tom Key and Liz Richards. This project involved: 1. Myself and Andy did some location recording around Leeds - Gathering sounds for traffic, market places, busy people, pigeons, car sounds like handbrakes, horns, engines, indicators, car doors slamming, cooking stalls, frying bacon, smashing bottles, curtains being drawn and bottles clunking. 2. Myself, Andy and SoohWan created a lot of sounds in the studio too which is called "Foley". This involved capturing sounds such as: Hand claps, footsteps, wind chimes, wind, cutlery, clothing rustles, chairs moving etc. 3. All the sound design from the introductory animation, Google Earth scene, scene in the market place, and the cafe (From 0secs-3mins39secs) was done by me. 4. I composed all the 3 songs that have been used, 2 pentatonic songs in Amaj Pentatonic (EQ'd one guitar to sound like a traditional Vietnamese instrument called a "Dan Tranh" as it's set in Vietnam), the creepy music is using diminished and tri-tone chords, I assisted Andy on the mixing of this too. 5. Played the voice of the butler, the witch/sprite and the radio host. 6. Created the cut outs for Artemis Fowl with and without goggles and The Butler for the stop frame animation. 7. Acted as project manager. 8. Spent a good couple of days in front of power point with Andy too working on the business side of things ...
