A recent study in central Victoria, Australia showed that pattern baldness was prevalent in 57% of women and 73.5% of men aged 80 and over. Men and women seem to suffer their hair loss in different patterns. Men follow a widening pattern of hair loss that begins and is localized in one area of the scalp. Commonly men will suffer from a receding pattern in the front where their forehead moves further towards the top of their head, or it works in a large "spot" at the back of the scalp which expands into a larger and larger area. . Women lose their hair in a different manner; their thinning becomes noticeable throughout the entire scalp and is not concentrated in one area. Why patrick stewart became an actor at the calgary expo 2012

At the 2012 Calgary Expo I enjoyed many moments of happiness and glee, but nothing like getting to ask the person who inspired me to become an actor why he went into the profession in the first place. His response was touching, thoughtful and more than I ever could have hoped for. When I say I was inspired by Patrick Stewart what I mean is that I grew up watching him on TNG and I knew there was something about him that elevated his performance above most others on television. The 'truth' that he speaks of must have been difficult to find, at times, when handed some of those sci-fi scripts over the years, but he managed to pull it off.
