Occupy assange: 'corrupt banks, corrupt cash'

The founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, attended the protests in London that are part of a worldwide action against corporate greed and austerity measures. Assange said that he was there to show his solidarity with the Occupy London movement, which was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street protests in the US. Assange traveled to London from his friend Vaughan Smith's country mansion in Suffolk, eastern England. Assange is living there on bail as he fights extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning over allegations of rape and sexual assault made by two women. From what banks have done to the people of the US, to Monsanto's destruction and making us ill with no labeling required, to the big oil companies with private profits and public liability. 20 years of litigation was the answer to First Nations dieing downstream from the tar-sands. Average earner salary has dropped while the 1% has made 300% profits in the last 10 years. Our public servants serve these Corps. with bias data, subsidies and bias media. It's profit for very few, to the huge detriment of every aspects of all our lives. After 9 "secret meetings", presently our Harper Gov. wants to sell our water, energy, education, health, food, public services etc... with "CETA". Our current monetary systems are broken with virtual bank money being paid back with real money and real interest by real people. Over 1500 cities worldwide are in "Occupation" to bring to light these issues and demand better of the "system" and "leaders". First week occupy wall street in nyc

A growing revolution is growing in the streets of New York. I had to come and witness it. Thousands of US citizens and allies are protesting since last September 17th in New York City against the current US economic and political systems which promote corruption, inequality, war, abuse of the wealthy elites and the impoverishment of the majority. This past weekend I traveled to New York because I wanted to witness the ongoing and growing movement of civil disobedience happening in that city titled "Occupy Wall Street". I was curious about this protest since it is one of very few times in US history, where the people of this country stand up in civil disobedience against the current corrupted economic and political system governing us. Nearly a hundred protesters have been arrested and then released by the New York Police who have used violent methods including pepper gas and tassers to arrest the activists, mostly young people. I recorded this video, this is what I saw last Saturday September 24th, 2011.
